In pursuance of provisions contained in Section 5(1) and (2) of the "Right to Information Act-2005", the competent authority in BSNL has designated various executives as First Appellate Authorities (AAs), Central Public Information Officers (CPIOs) and Assistant Public Information officers(APIOs) in Circle Headquarters/SSAs(Telecom Districts)/Units in BSNL North East-II Telecom Circle for the convenience to the genaral public and quick disposal of RTI Applications/Appeals.

Henceforth,the CPIOs concerned will furnish the information to the Appilcants.

Payment of fee for seeking information under RTI-Act, 2005. The Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, vide, their order dated 16th September, 2005 has prescribed anapplication fee of Rs. 10/- for seeking information from any public authority under RTI-Act, 2005.

In view of above, the applicants seeking information related to BSNL, NE-II Circle at Dimapur, must enclose with their application the requisite fee of Rs. 10/- in the form of DD/Bankers Cheque/IPO drawn in favour of "Accounts Officer( Cash), O/o CGMT NE-II Circle, BSNL" payable at Dimapur.

This fee can also be deposited in Cash with "Accounts Officer( Cash),O/o CGMT, NE-II Circle, BSNL Dimapur" against a voucher to be issued by "APIO O/o CGMT NE-II Circle, BSNL OCB Telephone Exchange 2nd Floor behind Super Market Complex Dimapur, Nagaland 797112".

In case the information pertains to BSNL field units (Telecom Districts/SSAs/Functional Units), the requisite application alongwith the prescribed fee should be deposited with the concerned Account Officer( Cash) of the concerned Telecom District/SSA/Functional Unit of BSNL. The application should be submitted in triplicate (One original copy & two photocopies along with the copies of enclosures) with the prescribed fee.
